Courtney Brown Memorial Fund

1990 - 2022

Our dearest Practice Manager, Courtney Brown, passed away in February 2022 after undergoing health complications. For almost two years she was a faithful servant to both clients and staff alike. She shined every day and made everyone around her that much better. She has left an indelible mark on our entire ReadiVet family and will be missed beyond words.

We know many of our clients had the opportunity to engage in different ways with Courtney over the years. Courtney was born with a rare syndrome called VATER syndrome, which subsequently led to two kidney transplants. However, in true Courtney fashion, she refused to let it define her in any way. Always smiling, always helping, going above and beyond anything ever expected. Her light shined brighter then the brightest and we count ourselves lucky to have called her our colleague, friend, and confidant. Her memory will continue to drive us forward and make us stronger.

To honor the impact she has had on us all, we have renamed our Good Samaritan Fund to the Courtney Brown Memorial Fund. Through the proceeds of this fund, we will be able to provide charitable care to the pets of those experiencing financial and related hardships. The Courtney Brown Memorial Fund is fully funded through ReadiVet, however we have received many gracious inquiries about donating to this cause.  We ask that contributions in Courtney’s memory be made to Operation Kindness, which is where she adopted her dog, Bentley.
